Focus on publicizing the Party Congress at all levels starting from October 2024.
This was one of the key points outlined by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department at the October 2024 press briefing.
On the morning of October 4th, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, and the Provincial Journalists Association jointly organized the October 2024 Press Briefing Conference. The conference was chaired by: Mr. Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Ba Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications; and Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc - President of the Provincial Journalists Association and Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station.

In September 2024, media outlets focused on reporting and publicizing prominent issues and events. In the areas of current affairs and politics, the visits and working trips to Nghe An by leaders of ministries, departments, and agencies, as well as the foreign and domestic activities of provincial leaders, were fully updated and reported.

Regarding socio-economic issues, the press agencies have prominently reported on the directives and management of the provincial leaders, focusing on areas such as: stabilizing the macroeconomy, controlling inflation, promoting growth, accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital, and key projects. Many news articles have assessed the economic picture of Nghe An in the first nine months of 2024, while also outlining key tasks and solutions to address emerging obstacles in order to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital in the remaining months of the year.
In addition, the press also published many articles reflecting on obstacles in land clearance that slowed down the construction progress of key projects; some shortcomings in administrative management at the local level; and recommendations and proposals to rectify and definitively resolve some cases of violations.

In particular, when Super Typhoon Yagi caused severe damage to lives and property in the northern provinces, the press continuously updated and reported on the timely sharing and support from units, localities, organizations, and individuals towards the people affected by the storm and floods. As of September 19, 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Relief Committee of Nghe An province had received donations totaling nearly 81.6 billion VND for the people in the North affected by Typhoon No. 3.

At the conference, representatives from media agencies reflected on several issues of public concern, such as the disciplinary action against the U11 Song Lam Nghe An football team, land price inflation, and pressing issues in the education sector, expressing their hope that the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department would continue to cooperate to provide timely information guidance.
Regarding future propaganda orientation, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requests that media agencies prominently publicize the results of the 10th Conference of the 13th Central Committee of the Party; the preparations for the 14th National Congress of the Party; and Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024, of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Press agencies need to strengthen information and propaganda to highlight the results and achievements attained in all fields during the three years of implementing the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, in conjunction with the five groups of programs and 21 key projects (according to Action Program No. 03-CTr/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee); and the content of implementing and deploying the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council. At the conference, the Propaganda Department emphasized that a plan to publicize the Party Congresses at all levels has been in place starting this October, and requested press agencies to pay attention and intensify propaganda efforts.

During the rainy season, media outlets need to focus on updating and warning about the risks of flash floods, landslides, flooding, and storms forming and entering our country's waters; mobilizing and guiding people to raise awareness and skills in responding to storms, flash floods, landslides, and rockfalls... to respond promptly and ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
In addition, the press also needs to prominently publicize major holidays and events in the month such as: the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2024); the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024); the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2024); the 94th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Party Committee Office (October 18, 1930 - October 18, 2024); and the traditional days of the Party's branches: Organization (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2024); Mass Mobilization (October 15, 1930 - October 15, 2024). Review (October 16, 1948 - October 16, 2024); Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20); Action Month for Vietnamese Elderly People in 2024; Commemoration of the 56th anniversary of the Truong Bon incident (October 31, 1968 - October 31, 2024)...
