Focus on building Con Cuong into an ecological urban area

In 2018, Con Cuong had 1 more commune and 6 villages meeting new rural standards; 24/25 targets met and exceeded the set plan. Budget revenue in the district is estimated at 53.8 billion VND - the highest ever. The growth rate in 2018 is estimated at 8.51% over the same period.

During the year, the district created jobs for more than 1,400 workers. Site clearance for some key projects achieved very positive results. Services and agriculture both developed quite well. The cultural and social fields received increasing attention. The work of resolving complaints, denunciations, and dialogue with the people was actively implemented.

In particular, the district regularly pays attention to and gradually innovates mass mobilization work, effectively leading the implementation of the "Year of mass mobilization of the government"; the sense of responsibility, exemplary pioneering role, and self-awareness of cadres and party members in the party committee are raised...

At the Conference, the Standing Committee of Con Cuong District Party Committee affirmed its determination to focus on leadership to complete the targets and tasks according to the plan set out and assigned by the province in 2019, towards building the district into an ecological urban area.

The Standing Committee and members of the Standing Committee of Con Cuong District Party Committee determined to continue to innovate working methods and styles, promote democracy, uphold the sense of responsibility with the spirit of "dare to do, dare to take responsibility"; promote administrative reform; build reasonable and scientific work programs and plans, assign specific tasks, and regularly inspect and supervise the implementation.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee should focus on analyzing more deeply the basic tasks and solutions to lead the implementation of key and breakthrough tasks; the Standing Committee collectively needs to continue promoting democracy, maintaining solidarity and unity to focus on leading the successful implementation of the set targets and tasks.

Comrade Le Minh Thong also suggested that the district should focus on promoting the construction of the Eco-urban Project; exploiting and promoting the strengths of local tourism potential; paying attention to the lives of people, especially the poor during the Lunar New Year, ensuring social security.
