Student T. pretended to buy a phone, then threw chili water in the shop owner's face, snatched two iPhones, and ran away.

On October 10th, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Krông Buk District Police (Đắk Lắk) initiated a case and temporarily detained Nguyễn Phước T. (16 years old, residing in Buôn Hồ town) for investigation into the crime of robbery. T. is currently a 10th-grade student at a high school in Buôn Hồ town.

According to the initial investigation, T. was addicted to online games. The 20,000 dong his family gave him each day wasn't enough to cover his gaming expenses, so T. decided to commit robbery.

T. prepared a bottle of chili paste and brought it to a phone shop in Pơng Drang commune, Krông Búk district, pretending to buy a phone. When the owner showed him two iPhones, T. threw the chili paste into the owner's eyes, snatched the two phones, and ran out into the street.

The victim shouted for help, and together with the people around, they apprehended T.
