Nghe An fishing boat suddenly caught fire at night

At 7:20 p.m. on July 15, the fishing boat NA 90641 TS of fishermen from Quynh Nghia commune was anchored at the fishing port in Duc Xuan village, Tien Thuy commune when it suddenly caught fire.

Upon discovering the incident, fishermen living near the fishing port called on all residents to come and help put out the fire; water pumps were also mobilized to the scene.

Upon receiving the information, the Tien Thuy commune authorities mobilized dozens of youths, police, maritime militia and contacted the fire police of Quynh Luu district to come to the scene with people to focus on extinguishing the fire.

However, because the ship contained oil, the fire spread very quickly. To avoid damage, many other fishing boats started their engines and moved their ships to another location to avoid the fire spreading.

By 8pm the same day, authorities had contained the fire, the cabin of the fishing boat was completely burnt. The estimated damage was in the billions of dong.

It is known that this boat has a capacity of over 400 CV, and is used for fishing on 4 poles. At the time of the fire, there were no fishermen on board, so there were no casualties.
