Fishing boat from Nghe An province runs aground off Ly Son island.
(Baonghean.vn) - A fishing boat belonging to fishermen from Nghe An province ran aground while seeking shelter from a tropical depression near Ly Son Island (Quang Ngai province).
At 7 PM on October 16th, at coordinates 15022'72" N - 1090At 08'99"E (approximately 200m east of Ly Son Island, Quang Ngai province), fishing vessel NA 93024 TS, while en route to seek shelter from a tropical depression near Ly Son Island, ran aground. The vessel, with four crew members, is owned by Mr. Nguyen Do Tuong (born 1957), a resident of Hamlet 4, Son Hai Commune, Quynh Luu District, Nghe An Province. Due to heavy rain and strong winds, the owner requested assistance and rescue.

Upon receiving the information, the Nghe An Border Guard Command notified the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard to assist the vessel NA 93024 TS. Simultaneously, they notified cooperating forces and vessel owners and captains operating near the location where the fishing vessel NA 93024 TS ran aground to provide assistance in resolving the issue.
Currently, all four crew members on board have reached shore safely.
