Iron-hulled ship carrying more than 5,000 liters of oil capsized in Nghe An waters

(Baonghean.vn) - While moving to the fishing port to refuel, an iron-hulled oil tanker of fishermen in Hoang Mai town (Nghe An) suddenly capsized. Due to the location of the capsized ship being close to the shallow fishing port, plus the large amount of fresh water and oil in the ship's hold, the rescue work encountered many difficulties. It is known that before capsize, this oil tanker had just pumped more than 5,000 liters of oil and 20 cubic meters of fresh water into 2 separate compartments to then sell oil and supply fresh water to fishing boats.
