After the Department of Science and Technology implemented the electronic traceability labeling system for Vinh oranges, consumers have many concerns surrounding the label.

Speaking with us, Mr. Tran Quoc Thanh, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, said: The electronic traceability label for Vinh oranges currently uses a single standardized design with the same quality, costing nearly 1,000 VND per piece; according to regulations, it can only be affixed to the product once.

Consumers can rest assured because once the sticker is applied to an orange, peeling it off and reapplying it will not work due to the orange's moisture.

Furthermore, if you peel off and reattach the label, it will become wrinkled, and the traceability software on your phone will be unable to retrieve product information.

Mr. Thanh added: After the implementation of electronic traceability labels for Vinh oranges, the management of these labels in the market is primarily handled by market management forces, in addition to the Sub-Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality and local authorities.

Therefore, consumers can rest assured when buying Vinh oranges that have the electronic traceability label.
