According to the victim, Nguyen Thi Thuy Thuong (44 years old, temporarily residing in Tan Phu district), at around 11 am on October 25th, she was riding her motorbike on Lien Khu 4-5 road, Binh Hung Hoa B ward, Binh Tan district.
Upon arriving at address number 18, Lien Khu 4-5 Street, she was suddenly approached by a young man on a white Wave motorbike who snatched the handbag she was wearing.

Ms. Thuong tried to grab her bag back, but the thief kicked her and sped away. Immediately, Ms. Thuong accelerated to chase after the thief, while shouting for help from passersby.
After a short chase, near the end of Lien Khu 4-5 road, the robber fell and abandoned his motorbike, fleeing on foot. Hearing Ms. Thuong's shouts, the people quickly apprehended the robber along with the stolen goods.
The vehicle, evidence, and suspect were subsequently taken to the police station for investigation. According to Ms. Thuong, the handbag contained 3 million VND, which she was carrying to pay her child's tuition in Tan Phu District when it was robbed.
