The thief raped the homeowner's daughter.

Huynh Van Tho (29 years old, living in Hong Ngu town, Dong Thap province) broke into a two-story house in the area to steal property, around 2:00 a.m. on August 28. Inside the house, he went to the kitchen to get a knife and hid it on his person in case he was discovered and would fight back.

The thief then went up to the second floor to look for property and saw the 22-year-old girl - the homeowner's daughter - getting ready to go to bed. He immediately entered the front room, ambushed the victim against the wall, and forced her into the room to rape her. While being restrained, the girl quickly pretended to ask to go outside to use the restroom. Tho agreed but stayed close.

When reaching the door, the victim stomped his foot hard on the floor to raise the alarm. Everyone in the house heard an unusual loud noise and turned on the lights. Tho panicked and let go of the girl and ran back into the room, holding a knife.

Receiving the news, a few minutes later, the police arrived and arrested the "pervert".
