'Early Tet celebration in the village' in Nam Giai commune, Que Phong district
On January 9th, in Nam Giai commune, Que Phong district, the District Youth Union - Federation of Youth Associations - and the Children's Council of Quynh Luu district organized the "Early Tet in the Village" charity program for 2025.
The program donated 80 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND, to poor and disadvantaged households in Nam Giai commune, and 60 warm jackets and 20 cartons of milk to disadvantaged students at Nam Giai Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School, with a total value of nearly 60 million VND.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to encourage the officers and soldiers of the Nậm Giải Commune Police to work with peace of mind and successfully complete their assigned tasks.
Speaking at the program, Comrade Dang Ngoc Minh, Secretary of the Quynh Luu District Youth Union, emphasized: The "Early Tet in the Village" program in 2025, organized by the District Youth Union, the Youth Federation, and the Children's Council of the district, is one of the practical activities carried out annually to help families and students in difficult circumstances in remote, border, and island areas overcome difficulties and celebrate a full and warm Tet holiday.
The program took place as the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake was approaching. The gifts distributed at the program demonstrated the spirit of mutual support and compassion; at the same time, it also reflected the feelings and responsibilities of the youth of Quynh Luu district towards disadvantaged families, poor students, and vulnerable people in society, helping them have a more fulfilling Tet holiday, contributing to building a united and compassionate community.
