Releasing the rare civet back into the wild.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of November 25th, the Que Phong District Forest Management Unit, in coordination with other functional units, released a civet back into its natural environment in Sub-area 72 within the Pu Hoat Nature Reserve.
Previously, the Que Phong District Forest Management Unit had received one individual.civetFrom the family of Mr. Lo Van Doan, in Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district.

The aforementioned civet was discovered by Mr. Doan trapped in the forest, so he reported it to the District Forest Management Unit for reception. Upon reception, the civet was in normal health and weighed approximately 0.7 kg.

The civet is classified as Group IIB in the list of endangered and rare forest animal species. Releasing these animals back into their natural habitat, suitable for the species, contributes to their protection.
