Thai Hoa and Kim Ly act as bodyguards for Chi Pu.

Following the success of 'Huong Ga' two years ago, Kim Ly is making a comeback to the screen in a project where he plays the lead role and also serves as the producer. Truong Ngoc Anh's "lover" has a masculine appearance, perfectly suited to the image of a bodyguard.

Thai Hoa, the "king of the box office," has piqued audience curiosity by also playing the role of a bodyguard. He and Kim Ly will form a dynamic duo in a thrilling and dangerous mission to rescue a wealthy client.

'Saigon Bodyguard' is directed by Japanese director Ken Ochiai. He began his filmmaking career at the age of 12 and has received numerous prestigious awards for films such as 'Tiger Mask' and 'Uzumasa Lime Light'. For this new action-comedy project, Ken Ochiai co-produces with Kim Lý and Niv Fichmen - the producer of 'The Red Violin', 'Blindness', 'Enemy', 'Into The Forest'... Truong Ngoc Anh also participates in the film as executive producer.

Chi Pu also participates in the project as a young lady, protected by bodyguards Kim Lý and Thái Hòa. In addition, the film features appearances by Bê Trần, Khương Ngọc, Diệp Lâm Anh, Diễm My, Kiều Trinh, Thanh Tú, and others...

Filming began on February 24th and the movie is scheduled to be released in theaters this Christmas.
