Thai Hoa plays a wealthy businessman whose character is enough to make the audience hate him. The character rises from nothing, striving step by step to achieve success. The actor is known for his many choices and meticulous approach to script selection. However, he chose to participate in this project because he found the script heartfelt and insightful.

"My character has many dramatic events, a flawed lifestyle, and flawed perspectives, but the film's ultimate message still focuses on happiness and family values. I like that!", Thai Hoa shared.

In 2019, Thai Hoa lost his inspiration and direction in his career. The actor couldn't confide in anyone, keeping it all inside, which led to depression. He was severely stressed because he felt he had many insurmountable problems.

The actor chose to withdraw, not wanting to meet or interact with anyone. When his emotions hit rock bottom, he picked himself up, seeking new joy and direction.

"I realized that no one was wrong, and I wasn't a bad person either. I didn't like anything other than movies, and then I tried to stabilize everything. At this stage, I'm doing my job with a relaxed and happy mindset," he said.

According to Thai Hoa, each role, project, or director he collaborates with gives him a different experience. Most importantly, he feels he can unleash his creativity, work with a relaxed mindset, and enjoy it.

Despite winning numerous prestigious awards, Thai Hoa doesn't place much importance on fame or achievements. The actor frankly states that he wants audiences to remember not by the name Thai Hoa, but rather the roles he plays.

For an actor, the greatest joy in their profession is successfully embodying a role. This is more meaningful and important than anything else.

For over 10 years, the couple's feelings for each other have remained unchanged.

Accompanying Thai Hoa at various events, big and small, is his current wife, who is 11 years younger than him. The actor considers himself lucky to have a supportive partner, a solid foundation that allows him to focus on acting without worry.

"Sometimes my wife even goes around changing pipes and light bulbs in the house herself. That allows me to focus entirely on the script and dedicate all my energy to filmmaking. It's not easy to find a wife who understands her husband's work like that," he said.

After more than 10 years together, their feelings for each other remain as strong as ever. Thai Hoa has two children; his eldest, Bom (Thai Hoa and Cat Phuong's child), is in university, and his youngest is in 5th grade. Both are mature and independent, which gives the couple great peace of mind.

How did he make up for his absence from home after spending so much time away from his wife and children?Thai Hoa said that after each project, he returns to his role as a husband and father in his family.

The actor often takes his family on short trips, enjoys meals together, exercises with his wife, and takes his children to school. For him, each small, simple act strengthens the bonds of family love.

The actor also maintains a routine of playing games, taking care of his dog, building with Lego, watching movies, and eating at any time of day or night… For him, this is a way to relax, to allow himself to rest and regain balance after each project.

"I never keep my earnings; I give it all to my wife. It's the financial manager who feels pressured. I never need money when I go out because my wife takes care of everything. My only concern is earning money for my wife so she can handle the smaller things," he said.

Regarding his current life, Thai Hoa feels content and satisfied. He believes that while his artistic career isn't incredibly lucrative, it provides a comfortable living. As an actor, he doesn't have extravagant needs or expenses, so he only desires what's necessary, as long as his family is happy.

For many years, Thai Hoa and his family have had a relatively simple Tet (Lunar New Year) celebration. He doesn't make many plans or buy many things, but instead wants to enjoy the relaxation after a year of working at full capacity.

Nevertheless, he still bought a few things to create a "spring atmosphere." In the days leading up to Tet, the actor repainted his house, placed some potted flowers, and set up an altar for his ancestors... He planned to take his wife and children for a stroll around the city, and then return to work.

The actor revealed that he is currently in a weight-loss regimen, fasting every day from morning until 6 PM. He also has to exercise, walk, and do pull-ups to get into the physique required by director Bui Thac Chuyen for his new film project at the beginning of the year.

"The promise to take my wife on a trip will have to be postponed until after Tet. From the 4th, I'll start filming, marking the beginning of a busy year," the actor joked.
