Thai Le Minh Hieu's journey to debut with the band UPRIZE comes to a disappointing end.
At the All-Rookie Finals, Thai Le Minh Hieu did not win the right to debut with the group UPRIZE after finishing last in the individual voting and the group not having enough members.
In the final episode of the Rookie of the Year program, Thai Le Minh Hieu officially missed out on a spot in the boy group UPRIZE. The rookie ranked last in the individual voting, while the Top 8 failed to surpass the necessary score threshold to expand the entire lineup.

A dramatic showdown with the band TEMPEST
Before entering the final rounds, the rookies successfully unlocked 5 positions in their debut lineup. The number of additional members (from 1 to 3) depends entirely on the total score the Top 8 earns against TEMPEST – a seasoned group from South Korea.
Despite their best efforts, the Top 8 only achieved 98.6% of the target score against a much stronger TEMPEST. This result means only 2 more debut spots were unlocked, bringing the total number of members in the UPRIZE group to 7. With the last place in the individual voting, Thai Le Minh Hieu was unable to join his teammates in the new group.

The journey from model to professional music stage.
Thai Le Minh Hieu entered the program as a model. 2025 was considered a crucial turning point for him when he decided to pursue a professional singing career. However, his start in the All-Round Rookie competition was fraught with difficulties due to personal mental health issues.
At Performance 1, due to refusing to participate in the rehearsal session, Thai Le Minh Hieu was disciplined by the program's team by having his name removed from the competition performance and being "frozen" (not shown on screen). This situation repeated itself at Performance 3, causing him to miss many opportunities to practice and impress the audience.

An impressive transformation and future potential.
After being rescued by his teammates at Performances 4 and 5, Thai Le Minh Hieu underwent a dramatic transformation. From someone who didn't know how to dance and whose singing voice wasn't particularly outstanding, he persevered in training to overcome his limitations. His inclusion in the Top 8 of the final night is considered a well-deserved achievement for his hard work and change of perspective.

Although he couldn't debut with UPRIZE, Thai Le Minh Hieu is still recognized by experts as a promising young talent. With his attractive appearance and continuous efforts, he is expected to return with individual artistic projects soon.
