Visiting and giving gifts to victims of Agent Orange.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 7th, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Yen Thanh district visited and presented gifts to families with victims of Agent Orange in the area.

In Tang Thanh commune, the Association visited and presented gifts to Ms. Thai Thi Hong (born in 1989), who is suffering from the effects of Agent Orange and is unable to walk. She is the daughter of war invalid Thai Huu Tran and Ms. Phan Thi Thoi.

In Hamlet 4, the delegation visited and encouraged veteran Thai Van Minh (born in 1945), who has been suffering from Agent Orange poisoning for nearly 30 years and has difficulty walking. Each gift package was worth 300,000 VND.

Previously, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Yen Thanh district invested in and supported the renovation of 4 houses for Agent Orange victims, worth 55 million VND; invested 10 million VND each in 2 economic development models for the victims; and distributed 160 gifts worth 78 million VND to alleviate the suffering caused by Agent Orange to these families.
