According to Nghe An Statistics, the consumer price index in September 2025 increased by 0.37% over the previous month and by 2.7% over the same period last year.
Of the 11 main groups of goods and services, 8 groups had price indexes that increased compared to the previous month: Housing, electricity, water and construction materials increased by 0.70%; Transportation increased by 0.59%; Food and catering services increased by 0.51%; Culture, entertainment and tourism increased by 0.20%; Beverages and tobacco increased by 0.06%; Other goods and services increased by 0.06%; Clothing, hats, footwear increased by 0.02% and Education increased by 0.02%.
There are 3 groups of goods that did not increase, not decrease compared to the previous month, including: Household equipment and appliances; Medicine and medical services; Post and telecommunications.
On average, in the first 9 months of 2025, the consumer price index increased by 2.03% over the same period last year. 8/11 groups of goods increased, including: Medicines and medical services increased by 13.32%; Other goods and services increased by 4.89%; Housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials increased by 3.78%; Food and catering services increased by 2.93%; Culture, entertainment and tourism increased by 1.37%; Apparel, hats and footwear increased by 1.33%; Beverages and tobacco increased by 0.97%; Household equipment and appliances increased by 0.75%.
