Thanh Chuong repairs damaged traffic after floods

In Thanh Son commune,Thanh ChuongAfter the flood, 10 inter-village roads were damaged and eroded; the flood washed away a bridge pier of Xop Lam bridge across Rao Con stream. Immediately after the water receded, people from Xop Lam and Cha Coong villages in Thanh Son commune voluntarily contributed over 30 million VND to buy steel and cement materials to build a temporary bridge.
Mr. Lu Van Duong - Chairman of Thanh Son Commune People's Committee said: Immediately after the flood receded, the commune mobilized over 1,000 laborers from the villages, combined with machinery to level the roads buried by landslides and landslides. Currently, the inter-village and inter-hamlet roads have been basically cleared.

Immediately after the flood receded, the district mobilized all forces to overcome the situation; directed communes to temporarily repair damaged inter-village roads, build some temporary bridges for people to travel; clear landslides in Thanh Lien and Thanh Son communes; and temporarily reinforce landslides on the dam body.

Thanh Chuong district is conducting inspection, review and assessment of the damage level of thedamaged structuresAccordingly, for slightly damaged works, communes are required to mobilize local forces to organize temporary repairs to soon meet the requirements of road clearance and production for the upcoming winter-spring crop. For severely damaged works, a list will be made to propose a plan for priority funding to promptly repair.
