However, in mid-September 2022, Liếp Waterfall ceased operations due to several news reports about restaurants brazenly springing up on land within the protected forest area around Liếp Waterfall. After recognizing this issue, Thanh Sơn commune seriously dismantled the structures. It is thought that turning Liếp Waterfall into a tourist destination is a worthwhile endeavor. And Liếp Waterfall needs to be revived. Recently, Thanh Chuong district has developed a plan to develop Liep Waterfall into an ecotourism destination, creating one of the highlights of the district's tourism. Initially, the district has built concrete roads and bridges over the stream leading to the foot of the waterfall. This will make it convenient for tourists to visit and admire the scenery.
