Establishment of the Trade Union at Hoang Gia Phat Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company
In accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code, the Trade Union Law, and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, and with the aim of contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations within the enterprise, on January 9th, Hoang Gia Phat Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company solemnly held its founding congress for its grassroots trade union.
Currently, Hoang Gia Phat Investment & Trading Joint Stock Company has 30 employees. Recognizing that establishing a grassroots trade union is a legitimate need of the workers, the company's Board of Directors has recently directed the formation of a steering committee and created favorable conditions for employees to register to join the trade union.
The organizing committee proactively coordinated and regularly sought guidance from the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor regarding the procedures for establishing a grassroots trade union. To date, 23 workers have voluntarily registered to join the union, including 11 women and 12 men. Based on this, the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor has approved the decision to establish the grassroots trade union of Hoang Gia Phat Investment & Trading Joint Stock Company in accordance with regulations.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Hoang Nguyen Trong Dung - General Director of Hoang Gia Phat Group emphasized: “The establishment of the grassroots trade union is an important milestone, demonstrating the company's concern for the lives, rights, and voices of its employees. We believe that the trade union will be a reliable bridge between employees and the Management Board, contributing to building a stable, united, and sustainable working environment. The Company's Management Board is committed to creating conditions for the trade union to operate according to its functions and roles, for the harmonious interests of both employees and the company.”
At the Congress, delegates elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union, elected the Trade Union President, and introduced the new Executive Committee to the entire Congress.
