Young man tricked and sold to Cambodia by female massage worker
After more than an hour of drinking, this group of 5 people tied up and restrained Mr. P. and then drove him across the border to Cambodia to sell to a facility.
On August 15, Quang Binh Provincial Police said that the unit's professional department had just received a report from Mr. NVP (born in 1995, residing in Hai Thanh Ward, Dong Hoi City) about being tricked and sold to Cambodia by a female massage worker.
According to Mr. P.'s report, around April 2021, he happened to meet a woman named Linh who worked as a massage service employee at a hotel in Dong Hoi City.
After a while, even though Linh returned to Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. P. still kept in touch regularly through Facebook's messenger application.

On April 5, Linh made an appointment with Mr. P. to take a bus to Ho Chi Minh City, then go to Long An province to play. They had a drink with 5 of Linh's friends (including 4 men, 1 woman) around 30 years old.
After about an hour of drinking, the group tied up and restrained Mr. P. Two men in the group drove Mr. P. across the border to Cambodia at night along a trail by motorbike and then sold him to a facility.
Here, the owner of the establishment forced Mr. P. to commit fraud and property appropriation online by setting up many fake Facebook accounts to make friends, send messages to call, entice, and trick Vietnamese people into depositing money into online gambling applications and websites, and to become a collaborator for e-commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada.
By the end of May, workers at the same facility where Mr. P. worked organized protests and went on strike. Thanks to that, many people escaped and were discovered, arrested, and deported back to Vietnam by Cambodian authorities.
The case has been received by the police, investigated and clarified.
