Young man holding knife demands doctor to 'hurry up' when bringing pregnant woman to emergency room
A man in Ha Tinh was subdued and disarmed by police after he became agitated, causing panic among doctors and patients.
At around 11:50 a.m. on April 23, doctors and nurses at the Emergency Department of Poison Control (Ha Tinh General Hospital) were working when a man entered with two 20-30 cm long knives. He asked the doctor if he had admitted a pregnant woman who had been in a traffic accident for treatment. When he received the answer "no", he immediately went out.

A few minutes later, about 5 men pushed a stretcher, carrying a 22-year-old woman, with swelling in her jaw and face, to the waiting room of the Emergency Department to complete the admission procedures. She was injured in a traffic accident and was 32 weeks pregnant.
As the doctors entered the patient's name, the strange man from before stepped forward, holding two knives in his back pocket, banging the table with his hands, acting agitated, demanding the doctors to "hurry up and do it for me". Many doctors and patients standing nearby were shocked. The incident was reported to security and the police.
