(Baonghean.vn) - In order to join hands to quickly overcome the consequences of storm No. 2, on July 17 and 18, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee directed the district and town Youth Unions to organize and mobilize union members and youth to help people clean up the environment after the storm.

Promoting the pioneering and volunteering role of youth, grassroots Youth Union chapters have proactively organized activities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. Specifically, youth union members have participated in cleaning up the environment, helping affected families clean up the ground, and continuing to maintain and develop youth volunteer teams ready to respond, prevent, combat and overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters and floods.

On the morning of July 18, on central streets of Vinh city such as Truong Thi, Le Mao, Phan Dang Luu, the Youth Union force divided into many groups, together with local residents and environmental sanitation workers, cleaned the streets, dredged drainage ditches, collected broken tree branches and damaged corrugated iron roofs that fell on the streets.
On the afternoon of July 17, in Quynh Luu and Nghi Loc districts and Hoang Mai town, the district and town youth unions arranged forces to be on duty in communes, villages, and coastal areas to grasp the situation and work with the people to overcome the problems after the storm.
