Young people in Nghe An province mobilize to mitigate the consequences of Typhoon No. 2.
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to quickly overcome the consequences of typhoon No. 2, on July 17th and 18th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union directed the district and town Youth Unions to mobilize union members and young people to participate in helping people clean up the environment after the typhoon.

Leveraging the pioneering and volunteer spirit of youth, grassroots Youth Union branches have proactively organized activities to mitigate the consequences of Typhoon No. 3. Specifically, Youth Union members participated in environmental cleanup, assisted affected families in clearing debris, and continued to maintain and develop youth volunteer teams ready to respond to, prevent, and mitigate the consequences of natural disasters, storms, and floods.

On the morning of July 18th, in central Vinh City streets such as Truong Thi, Le Mao, and Phan Dang Luu, youth volunteers divided into several groups to work with residents and sanitation workers to clean up the streets, clear drainage ditches, and collect broken branches and damaged roofing sheets that had fallen on the roads.
On the afternoon of July 17th, in the districts of Quỳnh Lưu, Nghi Lộc, and the town of Hoàng Mai, the district and town youth unions deployed forces to be on duty in communes, villages, and coastal areas to monitor the situation and work with the people to overcome the damage caused by the storm.
