On the afternoon of September 9, the Ministry of Industry and Trade informed that the Ministry had "finalized" the plan to apply a two-component electricity price, initially for customers with large electricity consumption, starting from January 1, 2026. According to the Electricity Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the two-component electricity price is the price structure to be paid for the registered capacity and the actual electricity used.
