Actress Thanh Truc couldn't hold back her tears when she read a comment suggesting that her husband was wealthy but still let her work hard. Singer Chau Khai Phong immediately spoke up to defend his wife's viewpoint.
During a recent online sales event, actress Thanh Truc broke down in tears when confronted with comments from viewers. Specifically, one account claimed that her husband, singer Chau Khai Phong, is financially well-off but still lets his wife work so hard.
The actress explained that starting an online business was a personal desire of hers. "'My husband earns a lot of money, why bother selling things online? Just focus on taking care of the kids' - Because I like it that way," Thanh Truc shared.
Chau Khai Phong speaks out in defense of his wife.
Present at the livestream to help his wife, singer Chau Khai Phong immediately spoke up to explain. He affirmed that he has sufficient financial means to take care of his family but respects his wife's decision.
"I earn money by singing, enough to support my wife and children. But my wife never wants to be dependent on me; she still wants to earn money through her own labor," he said. The singer also said that he always supports and loves his wife when he sees her working hard, even carrying her bags when she goes to film shoots.
Chau Khai Phong expressed his sympathy upon witnessing his wife working long hours continuously: "Sometimes I see how hard it is for my wife to sell goods, standing for 12 hours, sweating profusely, it's very difficult."
