Match schedule changes for Ho Chi Minh City FC vs. Song Lam Nghe An

Based on the announcements from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front regarding the mourning period for Comrade General Khamtay Siphandone, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Party and former President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, according to the national mourning protocol for two days, from April 4th to 5th, 2025, the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) announces the adjustment of the match schedule for Round 17 of the LPBank V.League 2024/25 and Round 13 of the National First Division Football League - Bia Sao Vang 2024/25 from April 5th, 2025 to April 6th, 2025.

Thus, the match between Ho Chi Minh City Club andLam River, Nghe AnThe 17th round of the V-League 2024/25 at Thong Nhat Stadium will take place at 7:15 PM on April 6th (Sunday) instead of April 5th as previously scheduled.

After 16 rounds, Song Lam Nghe An is currently ranked 12th in the V-League 2024/25 standings. The team from Vinh has 16 points, 3 points more than the second-to-last team, Binh Dinh. Meanwhile, coach Phan Nhu Thuat's team is also 2 to 3 points ahead of the three teams above them. Therefore, the match against Ho Chi Minh City FC in round 17 of the V-League 2024/25 at Thong Nhat Stadium is very important in Song Lam Nghe An's quest to avoid relegation.
