Personnel changes at the Ministry of Transport

Mr. Vu Anh Minh, Director of the Enterprise Management Department (Ministry of Transport), has been transferred to assume the position of Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railways Corporation, replacing Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh.

After leaving his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Railways Corporation, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh was transferred to assume the position of Director - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue under the Ministry of Transport.

This decision was confirmed by Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Nhat, who stated: "The Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport has met, made a decision, and issued an announcement."

The new Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railways Corporation, Vu Anh Minh, is a young official who achieved the highest score in the examination for the position of Director of the Enterprise Management Department of the Ministry of Transport two years ago. This rotation and reassignment is believed to be aimed at strengthening the leadership team of some agencies and units under the Ministry of Transport, meeting the overall requirements of the entire transport sector.
