Principal suspected of sexually abusing multiple male students arrested.
The principal of a boarding school in Thanh Son district (Phu Tho province) is accused of sexually abusing numerous male students over a long period of time.
On the afternoon of December 15th, leaders of the Thanh Son District People's Committee (Phu Tho province) announced that the district police had issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Mr. Dinh Bang My (principal of the Thanh Son District Ethnic Boarding High School and Junior High School) to investigate his alleged misconduct.Sexual abuse of a person under 16 years of age.According to Article 146 of the 2015 Penal Code.

In recent days, information has spread widely alleging that Mr. My sexually assaulted numerous male students at the school over a long period of time.
According to media reports, the alleged victims of Mr. My's sexual abuse are male students, both current and former. Several male students stated that Mr. My repeatedly summoned them to his office for conversations. The principal then demanded that they perform certain acts of sexual abuse. After each encounter, he would give them candy and a few tens of thousands of dong. Due to embarrassment and fear, none of the victims dared to come forward to report the abuse.
