Desire to contribute
public health care
As one of 29 outstanding young doctors recognized by the Youth Union and Young Doctors Association of Nghe An province as "Outstanding young doctor following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2019", Dr. Nguyen Duy Huy (born in 1986), Secretary of the Youth Union of Nghe An Eye Hospital is not only a doctor who is always dedicated to patients but also regularly organizes and participates in many humanitarian charity activities, demonstrating the medical ethics and compassion of a doctor in the medical industry.
Born into a family with a tradition of medical profession, the image of the white-coated soldiers silently caring for and treating patients gradually became engraved in Duy Huy's mind. Not knowing since when, Huy dreamed of following in the footsteps of his grandfather, father, and the doctors in white coats to treat people's illnesses.
In 2014, after graduating from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and studying level I at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Huy returned to work at the Cornea Department, Nghe An Eye Hospital.
Throughout his career, Huy has always been concerned about how to bring light to more people, bring more smiles and hope to patients and their families. Therefore, young doctor Nguyen Duy Huy constantly seeks to improve his professional experience, always learning from the previous generation to continue to improve himself.

For example, in 2017, Nguyen Duy Huy participated in the basic scientific research topic "Evaluation of treatment results of fluconazole 0.02% in fungal corneal ulcers" when using fluconazole 0.02% injected under the conjunctiva was applied in practice, helping nearly a hundred patients increase their ability to treat fungal corneal ulcers. At the same time, it opened up a new approach and treatment for patients, marking a breakthrough in the comprehensive development of Nghe An Eye Hospital.
Currently, in addition to examining and treating patients, Dr. Huy continues to research new topics.
“The medical profession brings me passion, but also many worries and hardships. However, thinking about bringing light to many patients has given me more motivation to continue completing all tasks. Being young means having to dedicate and strive, making small contributions to taking care of people's health and protecting them.”

Patient's smile
make forget the difficulties, hardships
For more than 8 years of tirelessly participating in medical examination and treatment programs for poor patients, pharmacist Lo Van Tuyen (born in 1988), an officer of the Department of Pharmacy - Medical Equipment - Supplies, Secretary of the Youth Union of Que Phong District Medical Center, has many times climbed mountains, waded streams, and traveled to remote villages with his colleagues, contributing to bringing joy to thousands of poor patients.
Being a Thai ethnic, since childhood, Lo Van Tuyen has cherished the dream of becoming a good doctor to help the people in the mountainous areas raise awareness in protecting their own health. Because Tuyen understands that when the people in the mountainous areas work just enough to cover the minimum expenses of daily life, medical examination and treatment is something too luxurious for the people here.
After graduating from the Faculty of Pharmacy - Dai Nam University, in 2011, Lo Van Tuyen was admitted to Que Phong District Medical Center. In addition to quickly grasping the job and coming up with many ideas to help doctors and nurses use drugs more appropriately, more safely, and more effectively.
Lo Van Tuyen also promoted the spirit of volunteerism, together with the Executive Committee of the Que Phong District Medical Center, proactively building volunteer programs to call for help from benefactors, gathering enthusiastic doctors and nurses to examine, distribute medicine and treat poor patients.

Tuyen and his colleagues have coordinated with the commune People's Committee and village chief to mobilize and disseminate information to each household so that people have the opportunity to access medical care. , Tuyen said.
“Just seeing their simple smiles makes all our difficulties and hardships disappear. That is why I always have a wish to organize as many free medical examination and treatment programs as possible to bring health and joy to the people.”
Passionate, responsible for work, not afraid of difficulties and hardships, ready to accept tasks assigned by the organization and above all, loving the profession, pharmacist Lo Van Tuyen has been awarded the title of "Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level" for many consecutive years and most recently Tuyen was honored by the Provincial Youth Union and Nghe An Young Doctors Association as "Outstanding Young Doctor Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in 2019".
