[Infographics]: Which exceptional cases will be issued paper health insurance cards from June 1, 2025?

From June 1, the Social Insurance Agency will only issue paper health insurance cards in exceptional cases where VssID, VneID cannot be installed, and there is no chip-embedded Citizen Identification Card. This regulation is part of the digital transformation program of Vietnam Social Insurance, implementing the directions of the Government and the Prime Minister on cutting administrative procedures, aiming to modernize the process and bring many practical benefits to health insurance participants.
