The Face is tiring with its constant arguments and backstabbing.
The program showed weakness in its production, focusing more on peripheral details than on the core professional aspects.
Episode two of The Face (The Brand's Face)The show aired on the evening of June 18th with the challenge: "Who dresses better?" and posing on the catwalk.Twelve contestants have begun entering the shared house to prepare for the long challenge ahead.

The three coaches were visibly annoyed with each other in the "hot seat". |
Next, the contestants didn't hesitate to express their feelings about their rivals when paired up for a challenge showcasing their talent in choosing and coordinating outfits."Never compare me to Tú Hảo because she's no match for me," Thiên said.Nga (from Minh Tú's team) said: After the judges chose Tú Hảo to advance, she expressed her dissatisfaction, saying that Tú Hảo was "too safe, nothing outstanding compared to me."
During the catwalk segment, Phuong Chi (Hoang Thuy's team) was called a "catwalk robot" by My Nhan (Lan Khue's team). Quynh Nhu's (Hoang Thuy's team) overconfidence prompted My Nhan to remind her: "She should control herself because this is a catwalk, not a fair."
The coaches also constantly disagreed and criticized each other.
In the first challenge, Hoàng Thùy and guest judge - stylist Hoàng Ku - clashed when commenting on the outfits of contestants Tường Linh (Hoàng Thùy's team) and Phan Ngân (Lan Khuê's team).
While Lan Khuê, Minh Tú, and Hoàng Ku chose Phan Ngân, Hoàng Thùy stubbornly defended the last contestant in her team. Faced with Hoàng Thùy's stubbornness...Hoang ThuyHoang Ku shared: "It's difficult to collaborate with Hoang Thuy in this role."

Thieu Lan (right cover) was the first contestant to be eliminated in this episode. |
When Lan Khuê went on stage to instruct Hoàng Thùy's team contestants on catwalk techniques, the winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2011 was displeased. She told Lan Khuê that she should spend her time teaching her own team. Hoàng Thùy explained that she wanted the contestants to be independent, because when they go out into the world, no one will guide them on how to walk. "That's why I just sat still and watched, while the other two coaches yelled and demonstrated to the contestants," she said.
At the end of the second challenge, Lan Khuê's team won and had the right to eliminate one of the two contestants from the other team. Minh Tú chose Thiên Nga, and Hoàng Thùy chose Thiếu Lan, putting them in the danger zone. The result...,Thieu Lan was eliminated.
After Lan Khuê's victory, Minh Tú told Hoàng Thùy: "See, instead of being petty, Thùy should focus her time on training her contestants." Lan Khuê, in turn, advised Minh Tú to dedicate her time to her professional work instead of arguing. Hoàng Thùy, however, believed Lan Khuê's decision to eliminate her "favorite" was a mistake. She asserted: "The true test of a horse is on a long journey, a good movie is judged by its ending, and it's not over until it's over."
Many people expressed their disappointment because after two episodes, all they saw was infighting between contestants and coaches, while professional matters were neglected. A typical example was coach Minh Tú arriving late, forcing the contestants in her team to practice on their own.
"I was so tired and turned off the TV after watching the contestants argue over sleeping arrangements. This motif seems to have become clichéd, ever since.""Vietnam's Next Top Model, up until this competition," said audience member Huy Hoang.
