Hai Duong ProvinceTwelve patients were recorded.1959-1967, 1973-1975Of these, 2 cases are workers in an industrial zone in Chi Linh city, who have been isolated and pose no risk of spreading to the community; 8 cases are related to the industrial zone in Chi Linh city, and 2 cases are F1 contacts related to the outbreak in Cam Giang district.

Quang Ninh Provincerecorded 2 patients1968-1969, is a close contact (F1) of "patient 1627", linked to the Poyun Company outbreak in Hai Duong province.

Dien Bien Provincerecorded 3 patients1970-1972This includes 2 F1 cases linked to the outbreak in Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province, and one case currently under epidemiological investigation.

Ha Giang Provincerecorded"Patient 1976", is F1 "patient 1871" and 1872 related to the outbreak in Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province.

Thus, in total over 8 days from January 28th to February 5th, the Ministry of Health recorded 394 community infections in 12 provinces and cities including Hai Duong (290), Quang Ninh (46), Hanoi (23), Gia Lai (18), Binh Duong (5), Dien Bien and Bac Ninh each with 3, Hoa Binh (2), Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Bac Giang and Ha Giang each with one case.

Nationwide, the total number of infections has reached 1,976, with 1,465 recoveries and 35 deaths due to Covid-19, including four deaths after three to four negative test results. The remaining patients are mostly in stable condition, with 10 testing negative for the novel coronavirus once, 3 testing negative twice, and 2 testing negative three times.

The total number of people in close contact with infected individuals or entering from epidemic areas currently under quarantine is over 80,000. Of these, 489 are in centralized quarantine at hospitals; over 24,000 are in centralized quarantine facilities, and the remainder are quarantined at home or their place of residence.

To support Dien Bien province in combating the Covid-19 epidemic, on the morning of February 5th, the Ministry of Health dispatched an elite force comprising leading epidemic control and treatment experts from the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, the Department of Preventive Medicine, the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, and Bach Mai Hospital. These experts will assist Dien Bien's health sector in epidemiological surveillance, epidemic response activities, testing, and establishing a treatment system.

The Ministry of Health requests that individuals who worked at Poyun Company, Cong Hoa Industrial Park, Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province in January 2021; and those who traveled on flights at Van Don International Airport, Quang Ninh Province from January 15th to the present; urgently contact the nearest medical facility or call the Ministry of Health's hotline 1900.9095, or the local health hotline number for support, advice, and Covid-19 testing.
