3 more markets in Vinh City reopen from today, September 15
(Baonghean.vn) - After being assessed to ensure full compliance with epidemic prevention and control requirements, Ben Thuy market, Hung Phuc market and Chua market in Nghi Lien commune (Vinh city) will officially resume operations today, September 15.
Information from Vinh City leaders said that after Coi market in Hung Loc commune, the city will officiallyreopen 3 marketsFrom September 15, including Ben Thuy market (Vinh University market), Hung Phuc market and Chua market in Nghi Lien commune.
Previously, the Vinh City working group assessed the implementation of epidemic prevention measures at these markets, showing that the markets had done a good job of preparing, ensuring safety for people and traders returning to the market.

It is known that,Ben Thuy marketis the largest market in Ben Thuy ward, with up to 600 traders and every day there are many people coming to buy goods, mostly local people, students, workers... Previously, this market had a case of Covid-19 infection who was a trader at the market.
Hung Phuc market and Chua market in Nghi Lien commune have no Covid-19 cases, but they must still be closed to ensure safety against the epidemic. These two markets have a total of over 300 traders.
The city requires the People's Committees of wards and communes and the Market Management Boards to strictly implement epidemic prevention measures when the markets reopen, such as stretching ropes and drawing lines for people to line up at the correct distance, measuring body temperature, making health declarations when entering the market, not jostling during shopping, following order, ensuring the correct distance, only allowing 1 entrance and 1 exit and always having a force on duty to check...
In addition, reopened markets are only allowed to sell food, groceries, and essential items. Food and beverage outlets at the markets are not allowed to operate.

For the remaining markets, the conditions must be completed according to plan No. 207/KH-UBND, then submitted to the Department of Industry and Trade and Vinh City People's Committee for consideration to reopen the market in the near future.
Previously, Vinh City had a plan to allowreopen 8 marketsfrom September 13, including: Hung Dung market, Quang Trung market, Ben Thuy market, Vinh market, Vinh Railway Station market, Chua market (Nghi Lien commune), temporary market (Hung Phuc ward) and Coi market (Hung Loc commune). Before reopening, it must be assessed to ensure safety. The remaining markets will continue to be closed.
