While patrolling on the night of July 23, police from Binh Chuan commune (Con Cuong) discovered two people butchering cattle at the foot of Kem Te slope of Na Co village, showing many suspicious signs.

The commune police called and questioned and then detained two subjects, Lo Van Duc (born 1986) and Vi Van Le (born 1968), both residing in Na Co village.

The two subjects confessed that because they craved drinking alcohol with beef offal, they stole and butchered a cow belonging to their neighbor, Mr. Lo Van Tinh.
