Another student in Nghe An swept away by floods.

(Baonghean.vn) - While engrossed in catching rats in the field, Ngũ Văn Quyền (13 years old, from Khánh Sơn commune, Nam Đàn district) was swept away by floodwaters.As of now, Nghe An province has reported 4 deaths due to flooding.

According to the Khánh Sơn Commune People's Committee, on the morning of October 10th, Ngũ Văn Quyền, residing in Hamlet 17, Khánh Sơn 2, went with a friend to the fields to catch rats in Nam Phúc Commune. Due to the strong current, Quyền was swept away without anyone noticing.

When Quyen did not return home by noon, his family searched for him and notified the local authorities for assistance. At 2 PM the same day, Quyen's body was found and handed over to his family.

Quyen is currently a student in class 8B at Khanh Son Secondary School, Nam Dan District.

Thus, by the afternoon of October 10th, four people had died in Nghe An province due to being swept away by floodwaters: one in Hoang Mai town, one in Do Luong district, and one in Quy Hop district.
