A 16-year-old contestant won first prize in the Lang Vac Village Festival Beauty Contest.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of March 16th, within the framework of the Vac Village Festival, the People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town organized the Final Round of the 17th Vac Village Festival Singing Contest and Beauty Contest 2016.
Nine beauty contestants and seven talented singers from communes, wards, and businesses in the area participated. The beauty contestants competed in two rounds: traditional ao dai (Vietnamese dress) and self-selected attire.

Contestants in the singing competition performed songs with themes about the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, and life today.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize for Best Singing Voice to contestant Truong Van Thang from the Youth Union of the District People's Committee Office. The First Prize for Beauty went to contestant Dinh Thi Kieu Anh (born in 2000) from Quang Tien Ward.
BTC also awarded second, third, and consolation prizes to the contestants.
