Attending the program were comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Ton Thien Phuong - Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy, Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports.

Also attending were comrade Tran Minh Ngoc - Chairman of Nghe An Journalists Association, Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station; representatives of provincial departments, branches, sectors, units and a large number of music lovers.

After a hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Television Singing Festival - AwardsDaystarNghe An 2022 has returned, gathering a large number of contestants to participate in the contest. Contestants come from many regions across the country such as: Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, in which many contestants come to their hometown Nghe An for the first time.

On April 15, Sao Mai of Nghe An officially started, the Organizing Committee received applications via email. The preliminary round had 50 contestants, the Jury selected the contestants to continue to the Final round. Many contestants traveled hundreds of kilometers to Nghe An, hoping to test themselves on the big stage ofNghe An.

The Final Round of the Television Singing Festival - Sao Mai Awards of Nghe An 2022 has the participation of 13 contestants competing in the following music genres: Folk, chamber music and light music.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 7 Consolation prizes, 03 Third prizes, 02 Second prizes. Contestant Ta Minh Man (registration number 57) of the Chamber Music category was awarded the Sao Mai Xu Nghe 2022 Champion. This contestant is from Bac Ninh province, and has graduated from the Central University of Art Education.

After the final night, the Organizing Committee will select the best candidates to represent Nghe An province to compete inTelevision Singing Festival- Sao Mai 2022 Tournament in the Central Highlands region will be held in mid-August in Quang Ngai.
