Seeing two human legs sticking out of the edge of a pond by the roadside, the woman who collects scrap metal reported it to the police. Initially, the police noted that the victim was a male, and his body was burned.

The Nam Tu Liem District Police are coordinating with professional units of the Hanoi City Police to investigate and clarify the cause of death of a young man whose body was discovered by residents on the roadside.

The area where the body was discovered has been sealed off for investigation.

According to initial information, the incident was discovered on the morning of April 24th in an empty plot of land in Tan My area, My Dinh 1 ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi.

Upon arriving at the scene, police determined that the victim was male. The body, in an advanced state of decomposition, was wrapped in a sack. Authorities believe the victim had died several days prior.

The area where the body was found was an open field overgrown with weeds. On the afternoon of April 24th, the concrete road connecting the villages was blocked off to facilitate the forensic examination.

The victim's identity is currently being determined.
