National High School Examination 2017: Solutions for candidates without a National Identity Card

This year, after submitting their exam registration form, each candidate will be given a separate account in the exam management software provided by the Ministry of Education and Training.

On February 13th, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a document guiding the regulations for the 2017 national high school graduation exam and the recognition of high school graduation.

Accordingly, in 2017, after submitting their exam registration forms, candidates will be provided with an account and password by the registration unit to log into the Ministry's exam management software via the internet at http://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn.

Each candidate will have a separate account on the Ministry of Education and Training's exam management system. (Illustrative image).

This account is used by candidates to log in to the exam management software from registration to viewing exam results, considering high school graduation recognition, and university/college admissions. To ensure information security, candidates should change their password and secure their account immediately upon receiving their account and password.

In case candidates forget their account and password, they can contact the registration unit to request a new one.

Depending on the time, when logging into the exam management software, candidates can access information such as: Exam registration information (feedback on any errors before April 25, 2017); information on high school graduation recognition (feedback on any errors before May 25, 2017); exam notification; exam location; high school graduation recognition results; university and college admission results.

Can I take the exam without an ID card?

According to the Ministry of Education and Training's guidance document on the implementation of examination regulations, candidates participating in the national high school graduation examination must present their National Identity Card when registering for the exam. Departments of Education and Training and high schools should instruct students to obtain their National Identity Cards before submitting their registration forms.

In cases where candidates do not have a National Identity Card, the exam management software will assign them a 12-character code for management purposes. Candidates who wish to adjust their university/college admission application preferences must register their phone number and email address when registering for the exam.
