Quan Hanh Town (Nghi Loc): Towards a civilized urban area

Located on the North-South highway, since the early 60s of the last century, Quan Hanh was built into the political, economic and cultural center of Nghi Loc district. In 1986, in response to the development requirements of the district, Quan Hanh town was established with an area of over 374,000 hectares, 9 residential groups and 1 hamlet, and a population of over 5,900 people.

By 2016, the town's transport infrastructure had been invested with 5 North-South routes and 13 East-West routes, convenient for travel and trade. The urban landscape was green, clean, beautiful and spacious. The economic growth rate reached 11%; the total production value was estimated at over 404 billion VND; of which, trade and services accounted for 73%, small-scale industry and construction accounted for over 19%. The economic life of the town's residents was increasingly improved; the average income per capita reached nearly 47 million VND/year. |
Quan Hanh town has paid attention to developing the fields of culture, education and health; 3 schools at all levels, medical stations, and a system of cultural institutions have been invested in; meeting the needs of learning, health care and developing the spiritual life of the people. Up to now, the town has 8/10 residential groups and hamlets achieving the title of cultural unit, 85% of families achieving the title of cultural; recognized as meeting national standards on health; 100% of children go to school, the number of good and excellent students passing the entrance exams to colleges and universities increases every year; social order and safety are ensured... In recognition of these outstanding results, the town Party Committee was recognized as a typical clean and strong organization in 2016.
