Car market faces 'storm' of price reductions at year-end

After Mazda or Honda, consumers still have many other opportunities in the second half of September when brands like Mitsubishi, Nissan or Chevrolet are offering many extremely attractive discount and promotion programs.

Most recently, in the second half of September, the market witnessed a "shocking" price reduction by Mitsubishi on the Outlander model with the largest reduction of up to 220 million VND. In addition, many other models of the company are also discounted at the end of this September.

Chevrolet reduced from 15 - 70 million VND

Chevrolet's Colorado pickup truck model this September has the highest discount of 15 - 80 million VND, depending on the version. Specifically, the High Country version has a discount of 80 million VND, the selling price at dealers is only 759 million VND; the Colorado LTZ AT version has a selling price at dealers of 749 million VND, a decrease of 60 million VND compared to last month; the Colorado LTZ MT has a discount of 30 million VND, the current selling price is 759 million VND; the Colorado LT 2-wheel drive has a discount of 20 million VND, only 629 million VND and finally the Colorado LT 1-wheel drive has the smallest discount when the selling price at dealers is 604 million VND, a decrease of 15 million compared to last month's selling price.

In addition, the Chevrolet Cruze is also adjusted down to 70 million VND; Chevrolet Aveo is reduced by 30 million VND for both 1.4 LT and 1.4 LTZ versions. Finally, the Captiva model has a convenient selling price of 879 million VND with a policy of giving 40 million VND to customers who buy a car this month.

Nissan X-trail reduced by 50 million VND in September

Nissan also reduced the price of the two SUV models X-Trail and Navara this September by up to 50 million VND.

Specifically, Nissan X-Trail 2.0 reduced by 50 million VND from 933 million to 883 million VND; X-Trail 2.0 SL reduced by 30 - 50 million VND, selling price only 949 - 969 million VND. X-Trail 2.5 SV reduced by 30 - 50 million VND, actual selling price only 1.063 - 1.083 billion VND.

Nissan Navara is reduced by 48 million VND in September and is given an additional 2% registration fee.
