Hoang Mai town: Yields of imported apples reach 20-25 kg of fruit per tree.

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 8th, Hoang Mai town organized the acceptance testing of an apple cultivation model in Quynh Lien commune.

This is the apple farming model of Mr. Ho Ba Tiep's family in Hamlet 8, Quynh Lien Commune.This model was built by the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town using funds from the science and technology budget, amounting to over 40 million VND.

Each apple tree yields 20-25 kg of fruit.

The apple orchard model of Mr. Ho Ba Tiep's family in Hamlet 8, Quynh Lien Commune, is planted on land previously used for growing vegetables. With nearly 200 apple trees of Thai and Taiwanese varieties, after almost a year of planting, the trees are developing well. The apples are large and of good quality, and are considered suitable for the local climate and soil conditions. Each tree yields 20-25 kg of fruit.

Based on the effectiveness of these models, Hoang Mai town will continue to invest in and expand them in the future.
