Russian 'Hurricane' armored vehicles appear in Syria.

A modern version of the Russian Typhoon-K 63968 multi-purpose armored vehicle has appeared in Syria.

Russian channel RT recently released a video showing Russian troops distributing food to residents in the recently liberated city of Aleppo, Syria. The video features an image of a Typhoon-K 63968 combat vehicle, indicating that Russia's newest armored vehicle, nicknamed "Hurricane," has been deployed to Syria, according to Defense-blog.

The Typhoon-K, designed by Russia's Kamaz, is intended for a variety of tasks including mine countermeasures, troop and weapons transport, and is highly effective in urban warfare environments.

The Typhoon-K weighs 21.5 tons, is equipped with a Kamaz 740/354 V8 turbo engine producing 450 horsepower, has a top speed of 105 km/h and a range of 1,200 km.

The vehicle can withstand the explosive force equivalent to 8 kg of TNT, protecting soldiers from 7.62 mm sniper rounds.
