The unique design of the Audi Q8
Audi is working to expand its SUV lineup with a completely new version called the Audi Q8.
Based on the concept car shown at the Detroit Auto Show, the Q8 will have a more sporty and sleek appearance compared to the Q7. According to images captured by Carscoops reader Robert van Gool, the production version will be quite similar to the concept car shown at the show.

Right from the front of the car, we can see that the headlight cluster is quite similar to the display model. Along with that is a somewhat aggressive grille, and angular air intakes on either side of the front bumper. The similarities between the production version and the display model continue in the large wheels and the car's windows.
The Audi Q8's body is designed on Audi's MLB platform, combining aluminum and carbon fiber, just like the R8 supercar.

The engine options will be customizable to customer needs, including the 4.0-liter rei-turbo V8 diesel engine from the QS7, a plug-in hybrid engine co-developed with Porsche, and, of course, the powerful twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine from the RS Q8. The press conference for the Q8's launch is expected to take place next year.
