'Design for Humanity' serves human life

That is the goal of the "Design for Humanity" Workshop organized by Minh Long Wood in collaboration with Nghe An Architects Association on the afternoon of March 16, in Cua Lo town.
Attending were experts - architects:Le Truong - Chairman of Vietnam Furniture Association; Takashi Niwa - Director of Takashi Niwa Architects; Nguyen Viet Huy - Chairman of the Association of Architects of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering; Nguyen Hoang Manh - Co-founder, CEO, Chief Architect of MIA Design Studio; Tran Huu Tho - Founder of Gia My Studio, Design Director of VietDECOR; Pham Hong Son - Lecturer of Vinh University; Nguyen Minh Cuong - General Director of Minh Long Wood Group Joint Stock Company; Luong Ba Quang - Chairman of Nghe An Architects Association and more than 300 architects in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Hanoi.
Humane design is a topic that receives much attention from experts and architects. “Humane design” or “for people” are designs that serve human life, and at the same time reflect the free self – the lifestyle of each person.
Human-centered design will have an impact on individuals, families, communities, and the whole society. Human-centered design is also a design that is suitable for users, from ergonomics to culture - lifestyle and local climate.

At the workshop “Design for Humanity”, experts and architects presented papers on: Health, happiness and more; Promoting natural materials in modern spaces; The Architect’s journey of transforming the Indochine style in the contemporary; Balancing aesthetics and functionality – the story of modern design; Bringing modern materials into indigenous design...

At the conference, the issue of industrial wood production attracted the attention of experts and architects and this is becoming a dominant material, with great potential to replace natural wood.
