16-year-old boy beats girlfriend to death out of jealousy.

Upon discovering his girlfriend had stayed out all night, Huy questioned her and struck her violently on the head, causing her death.

On July 19th, the Dien Ban Town Police in Quang Nam province announced that they had issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, indict and detain Truong Van Huy (16 years old, from Tien Phong commune, Tien Phuoc district) for the crime of "Intentional infliction of injury".

According to the investigation documents, in early July, Huy and his girlfriend, Hoa (16 years old), went to Dien Thang Trung commune, Dien Ban town to look for work and rented a room together.

On July 13th, Huy went back to his hometown for a visit, then returned to his rented room that night only to find his girlfriend wasn't there. That night, Huy assumed Hoa had gone out with a young man.

On the morning of July 14th, Hoa returned home, and Huy questioned her. Disagreeing with her answer that she "slept at work," Huy hit her on the temple and face.

In the early morning of July 15th, Hoa got up to go to the bathroom but fell, hitting her head on the tiled floor and convulsing. The following day, the teenager died at the hospital.

The autopsy results showed that Hoa suffered a traumatic brain injury and a hematoma in her head. Authorities determined that Huy struck her forcefully, causing her death.
