16-year-old boy murders girl in motel.
After dating and negotiating a price online, Linh went to a hotel with Ms. L. There, Ms. L refused to have sex, so Linh, in anger, murdered her and stole her two mobile phones…
On November 7th, after receiving Ho Thanh Linh (born in 2004, from Vinh Long), the suspect in the murder of Ms. PTL (born in 1975, from Lao Cai), at the AH guesthouse (Street No. 1, Binh Chieu Residential Area, Binh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc District), the Thu Duc District Police conducted an interrogation. Initially, Linh admitted to the crime.killingrobbery.
At the police station, Linh, a burly man with a face that looked older than his age, led many to believe he was over 40 when they discovered Ms. L's death; however, the perpetrator was only 16 years old. Linh confessed that he had no stable residence and worked as a loader in the border area between Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong.

On October 29th, Linh contacted Ms. L on social media and negotiated a price for prostitution. Ms. L agreed and instructed Linh to go to the AH motel to book a room in advance. Linh rode her motorbike (without a license plate) to the motel, got a room, and waited. After a while, Ms. L arrived.
Seeing that Linh was not in her right mind, Ms. L refused to engage in prostitution, leading to a conflict between Linh and Ms. L. Ms. L tried to leave, but Linh chased after her, dragged her into the room, and then violently attacked her, using a rope to strangle her to death.
After committing the crime, Linh rummaged through Ms. L's handbag, taking two mobile phones and a few hundred thousand dong, then went downstairs to check out and leave. Linh threw Ms. L's empty handbag onto the grass about 50 meters from the guesthouse and then tried to escape. As for Ms. L, after Linh left, the guesthouse staff became suspicious and checked on her, discovering that she had died, so they reported it to the police.
The CCTV footage from the guesthouse was quite blurry, making it difficult to clearly identify Linh. Linh's vehicle had no license plates and was quite old, further hindering identification. The Thu Duc District Police reported the incident to the Ho Chi Minh City Police and also notified the police in all 24 districts and counties, as well as neighboring provinces such as Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and Tay Ninh, requesting their cooperation in apprehending the suspect.
In the early morning of November 7th, Ho Chi Minh City police received a report from Binh Duong province that Linh had been located and apprehended.
