A young woman from Nghe An province was murdered and robbed by two assailants.
On December 31st, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department announced that they are urgently investigating and apprehending two suspects who stabbed a young woman to death on the street and robbed her of her belongings.
The victim in this case is Ms. Luong Thi Pan (21 years old, from Nghe An province), temporarily residing in Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City, and working as a factory worker.
According to the initial investigation, on the evening of December 29th, Mr. Le Van N. (born in 1995, from Nghe An province) went to Ms. Pan's rented room and invited his girlfriend to the area of Pham Van Chieu street, alley 237, Ward 14, Go Vap district, to talk.
A short while later, Mr. N went to buy a drink, and when he returned to the location, he couldn't find his girlfriend. Thinking that Ms. Păn had gone back to her rented room, Mr. N also went home. Later, he received a phone call informing him that Ms. Păn was injured and lying by the roadside.
Mr. N and his friends arrived at the scene and took Ms. Păn to Hospital 175 for emergency treatment, but the victim died later.

Upon receiving the report, the Go Vap District Police, in coordination with other professional units of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, examined the scene and the body to determine the cause of death.
Through the extraction of security camera footage, the police discovered that at the time Mr. N went to buy water, Ms. Pan was accosted by two individuals on a motorbike who were armed with weapons. When Ms. Pan resisted, the assailants murdered her and stole her mobile phone and some cash.
Ho Chi Minh City police are urgently pursuing the suspects.
