Fake police major encounters special task force.
On the afternoon of September 26th, the police in Trang Bang town (Tay Ninh province) were investigating and handling the case of Nguyen Van Phuc (born in 1984, residing in Tan Hoa commune, Tan Chau district) for impersonating a police officer.
Specifically, at 7:30 PM on September 25th, the Special Task Force (369) of Trang Bang Town Police coordinated with Loc Hung Ward Police to patrol to prevent and combat crime and ensure traffic safety and order in the area.
Upon arriving at Loc Binh neighborhood, Loc Hung ward, the task force spotted Phuc wearing a police uniform with the rank of major and exhibiting suspicious behavior, so they invited him to the station for questioning.
During the investigation, Phuc initially confessed to purchasing police uniforms, rank insignia, and badges online via Facebook and receiving them from a shipper for 1.8 million VND. Phuc wore the police uniform to impersonate an officer, filmed videos, and posted them on TikTok to attract public attention.
