Weather forecast update for November 22, 2025: Northern Vietnam will experience a slight increase in temperature, with sunny spells in the afternoon. The Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam should be prepared for thunderstorms and tornadoes in the late afternoon and evening.

The North is getting warmer, but Hanoi is experiencing air pollution.

The weakening cold air mass has helped temperatures across the North gradually rise. The weather will be predominantly cloudy, with warm sunshine during the day and temperatures generally ranging from 26 to 29 degrees Celsius. However, biting cold will persist at night and in the early morning, especially in high mountainous areas.

Hanoi:The weather will be dry, with no rain, and sunny in the afternoon. The lowest temperature will be 18 degrees Celsius, and the highest 29 degrees Celsius. Notably, air quality in the capital is currently poor, so people should limit outdoor activities in the early morning.

Northwest Vietnam:The weather was sunny and pleasant during the day, with no rain at night. In the mountainous areas, it was very cold, with nighttime temperatures dropping to 16-19 degrees Celsius.

Northeast Vietnam:There will be scattered rain, with northeasterly winds of force 2-3. The highest temperature will reach 29 degrees Celsius.

The central region of Vietnam experiences slight variations in weather patterns, but overall, the conditions are quite favorable for daily activities during the day.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue:The weather will be sunny with some clouds during the day. Towards evening and night, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected. A light northeasterly wind of force 2-3 will blow, and temperatures will range from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan:The weather is cool and pleasant. There is a possibility of showers and thunderstorms in some areas at night. The highest temperature will be around 31 degrees Celsius.

The Central Highlands region, from Dak Lak to Lam Dong, maintains its characteristic weather pattern. Daytimes are cool, with maximum temperatures around 24-27 degrees Celsius.

From late afternoon and into the night, the weather forecast warns of scattered thunderstorms, with moderate rain in some areas. The night will be cool with temperatures ranging from 16 to 19 degrees Celsius.

Southern Vietnam should be prepared for extreme weather.

The Southern region and Ho Chi Minh City will experience alternating periods of sunshine and clouds throughout the day. However, people should exercise extreme caution during the late afternoon and night.

Widespread thunderstorms are expected, with localized areas experiencing moderate to heavy rain. During the thunderstorms, there is a high risk of dangerous phenomena such as tornadoes, hailstorms, lightning, and strong gusts of wind (levels 6-7). Daytime temperatures could reach 33 degrees Celsius, and the UV index will be at a low risk level.
