Heartbreaking song about mother by a young man from Do Luong.
(Baonghean.vn) - Just a few hours after being shared, the song "Returning Home" performed by Hoang Van Tuyen - a young man from Do Luong - caused a sensation on social media on Vietnamese Women's Day.

With his sweet and expressive folk singing voice, Hoang Van Tuyen, a second-year student in the Vocal Music department at the Military University of Culture and Arts, was previously known to audiences under the stage name Hoang Gia Quan through representative songs such as: "Growing Up with Mother," "At Both Ends of Nostalgia," "On the Sea of My Homeland," "Old Riverbank," "Lullaby," "The River of Childhood," "Song of My Homeland," "Why Let Go of the Folk Song, My Dear," "Towards My Homeland," etc.
To celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day, Gia Quân shared on social media the song "Returning Home" by composer Tuấn Phương, with lyrics by Lê Tự Minh, performed by himself. The song has been well-received by the online community, garnering tens of thousands of views and likes.

"Returning Home," performed by Hoang Gia Quan, expresses the heartfelt longing of a child far from home, always carrying within them a deep yearning for their mother and homeland. "I return to the call of 'Mother,' returning to Mother, a place of true peace..." The lyrics seem to speak for the filial devotion of many young people towards their parents and family, the place that holds so many cherished memories.
Enjoying the song, with its pent-up and soaring emotions, many people exclaimed, "Oh, it's so good!", "So heartwarming and touching!"
Hoang Gia Quan said: “I’ve liked this song for a long time, and when I first heard it, it touched the deepest emotions in my heart. I started working on this song in mid-September, but only finished it on the morning of October 20th. I also didn’t think I would be able to release it on Vietnamese Women’s Day.”

Posting on his personal page, Hoang Gia Quan shared: “On the occasion of October 20th, I want to send everyone the song “Returning Home” as a congratulatory message to half of our world. Wishing all mothers, grandmothers, and sisters always be happy, beautiful, and joyful.”
It is known that Hoang Gia Quan is the youngest of three siblings, orphaned by his father when he was in 10th grade. Gia Quan has loved performing arts since he was a child. While attending the village school, he was always a bright star in the school's and the village's performing arts team, and even won first prize in the Village Lotus Singing Festival at Anh Son High School.

After becoming a student at the Military University of Culture and Arts, Gia Quân always strived to prove himself and won third prize at the "Folk Song Star 2017" competition organized by the Hanoi Student Cultural Center in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Stage Artists.
With his forte in classical and sentimental folk music, and through his talent and tireless efforts, this young man from Do Luong promises to bring audiences many more wonderful works.
